About a third into my show I like for my guest of honor to decide the theme of magic I will be performing. This is risky business. If the wrong number is selected I might be in serious trouble! In this case, as Shakespeare would say, “All’s well that ends well.”
Why so serious over magic snacks?
Some people wonder if I can magically produce whatever snack I want … but therein lies the problem! When there are too many choices, the many choices can be too many. Making an easy choice, like what snack I should eat, isn’t always easy! Ha! In the end, magic comes through for me again!

Magic-Sparkes
My last name is pronounced, sparks, but it is spelled, Sparkes (the old English spelling). If you Goggle Sparkes you’ll find some of my possible relatives across the UK, Australia and Canada. Some people tell me I’ll get a lot more business if I drop the “E” and just call myself Magic-Sparks. Whenever they say this I remind them that they once said the same thing to Arnold Schwarzenegger. As I recall, they approached the former Mr. Universe and said, “Arnie, just drop the “e” in Sparkes.” Arnold stopped his workout, gave them an angry look and said, “No.”
I rest my case.
Swami Eyes! They’re Watching Me!
This video was made about 18 months before the Covid pandemic. I no longer perform as a Swami, but I have yet to make a better video of this effect. The audience was exceptional. I should also point out that I often do preshow walk around magic. In this case, my two guests didn’t know each other, but I knew them both. Neither one knew what I was going to do with them, let alone know what was going to happen.
